THERE ARE SAFEWAYS to do almost everything: swimming, bicycling,
paddling a canoe, using an ax, and playing team sports. Learn and follow
the rules of the activities you enjoy. Hike and camp with care. Anytime
you aren't sure how to do something safely, ask. Understand the dangers
of an activity and know how to avoid them.

Lifting Safely
Protect your back from injury by practicing the proper lifting technique. Instead of leaning over at your waist and grabbing a heavy object bend your knees keep your back straight, and lift witht he strong muscles of your legs.
