YOUR EARS
Clean the outside of each ear with a damp washcloth wrapped over the
end of a finger. Let the inside of your ears take care of themselves. Never
dig in your ears-that could infect them or even damage the eardrums.
Very loud noises, especially those that persist, can damage your hearing.
Wear ear protection around noisy machinery and on firing ranges.
When you listen to music, keep the volume at a reasonable level, especially
if you're listening with headphones.
An ear ache, constant ringing, or fluid running out of an ear are all
signs of trouble. See a doctor if you suffer from any of these symptoms.
