Many troops have a Venture patrol-a special patrol for older Scouts. Venture patrols plan and take on rugged outdoor adventures and special sports activities. The opportunities within a Venture patrol give older Scouts every reason to stay active in their troop and to use their Scouting knowledge, (For more on Venture patrols, see page 420-21.)
